About a month before his birthday, I started to see if he was ready for potty training, and holy smokes he was ready! He has always been a kid that exceeds my expectations. Everything I've ever had to do to train or teach him, he always does way better than I ever think. I don't know if I can fully say he is 100% potty trained just because he sleeps at night with pull-ups. But for the day, I think we are potty trained. He hasn't had an accident in at least 3 weeks, he can nap with underpants on, and is good about holding it until we find a bathroom when we are out and about.
He loves to watch all his favorite shows. Some favorites right now is Goofy Movie, Cars, Emperor's New Groove (he walks around all day saying BOOM BABY and it's hilarious), Moana, and the list could go on and on. He loves to be outside, loves, sleeping in his big bed, loves animals, play toys-especially his shovel and lawn mower that he got for his birthday, he loves wearing his boots every second he can that he got from Papa and Gamma Robi for his birthday, I could go on and on about all the things I love about him, he is so cool!
It's crazy how much a person can change, grow, and learn in just a year's time. Last year I decided to take Ashton's 1 year pictures at SUU, and this year I decided last minute to just do the same thing, but try to find some different spots to take them. On accident, one of Ashton's shirts he wore for his 2 year old pictures was very similar to one he wore last year and on accident again, I took a picture of him in the exact same spot as last year. After I took it and downloaded it, I thought that picture looked familiar. Check this out. Anyway, I'm so excited to see what this year holds for Ashton!
