BABY GIRL

So two weeks ago we found out what baby #2 is! When I was pregnant with Ashton, Chase and I decided to not find out if he was a boy or girl and waited until he was born to find out he was a boy. I don't regret doing that at all! It was fun and different. I am usually a planner so it was weird that I wanted to not find out, but when he finally was born and I looked down and saw a boy, that was a very cool moment! Now here we are two years later and Chase and I started to discuss if we should do the same thing or find out this time. After much, much discussion, we decided to find out. We thought it would give this pregnancy a bit of a different feel, just so we can prepare more and get spoiled a little more haha so we found out. With Ashton, we both felt strongly that he was a boy, this time, I had no clue, but Chase was sure again it was another boy.

We started the ultrasound checks and suddenly she said it looks like it's a GIRL!! We were shocked. Even though I didn't have a feeling of a boy or girl, it was easier to imagine a boy because I've done and am doing the boy thing. It's still kind of hard to wrap our minds around a girl, but it's so surreal and exciting at the same time!

The night before our appointment, we decided to go cook some hot dogs on the mountain and I figured I'd have a mini (amateur) photoshoot of Ashton with both color balloons so we'd have a way to announce if it's a boy or girl. The only way he was willing to cooperate was if dad would shoot the balloons with his rifle after we took pictures. Chase was a champ at being my helper and making him smile! He is one cute little dude, and I can't wait to see what little sister looks like! November needs to get here fast!

I am not a fan of taking any pictures of myself while I'm pregnant, but I know I should take pictures of my growing belly here and there. I've done a terrible job the first half of my pregnancy as this picture is making 20 weeks/half way. But here it is. See you in another 20 baby girl!
