October

Oh October! A joyous month! The crisp fall air, leaves change, the start of the nearing of the holidays, hunting season/mountain season, corn mazes and Halloween. We are big fans of this month (which was 3 months ago, oops). Since we live up in Northern Utah now, it's harder to go down south as often as we'd like. But no fear, Chase took 2 weeks total off of work to hunt. So we dropped him off in Beaver and kept going to St. George to spend time there. Chase had a tag for the spike elk hunt and deer hunt, but just got an elk. Hello endless amounts of meat! While in St. George, I got together with friends, got my hair done, spent time with family, and went to Thriller with my Robinson sisters (minus 1, Amanda).

We took the kids to a corn maze in Salt Lake and it was awesome! They loved the corn pit, seeing the cows and horses (duh), the hay ride, the bouncy house, the big tunnel slides. Everything is so much fun with little kids. They had the best time, which made us have the best time, too! And then Halloween came! Ashton and Hallie's costume were too fitting for them. A little hunter and pink bear. That is their personality perfectly. Ashton is all things guns, horses, the mountains/Beaver. Hallie is a girly destroyer who loves to growl like a bear. I've never been a fan of dressing up for Halloween, but it's fun to dress the kids up and do the classic Halloween activities like have good soup, pumpkin pie, watch the classic Halloween movies, and take the kiddos Trick-or-Treating. It was a fun day!
