BIG 3!

On the 14th of this month, Ashton turned THREE YEARS OLD! How do I have a kid that old? It's so crazy. He is such an awesome kid though. At 3 years old, here is a little bit about my best boy ever...

-He loves horses and animals in general

-He is officially potty trained. Has been for a year but is now potty trained through the night too

-He is 36 inches tall (20th percentile) and 29 pounds (25th percentile)

-He's a good eater, although it takes him forever to eat when he's feeding himself

-He loves playing toys (especially with his horses), watching his favorite shows, playing play doh, drawing, playing baseball or basketball, and being outside

-He loves his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins

-He loves going to St. George, Beaver, and Lake Powell

-He recently took swim lessons and has grown to love the water so much more. Before swim lessons, he would never put his face in the water and now it's no big deal

-Can count to 10 and can sing the ABCs

-Has a very strong opinion on how I do my hair. Sometimes I walk in with my hair in a ponytail and he will say “I don’t want your hair like that I want it down” or sometimes when my hair is down he will say “I want your hair like this” and put his hands behind his head to show me he wants my hair in a ponytail haha

-He loves Hallie and is the one who makes her laugh the most

-He will randomly come up to me, put his arms around me and say "mom, you're my best girl ever" so now I always tell him that he's my best boy ever

-He still loves to snuggle me

-Does really well with his colors, but sometimes mixes up orange and yellow

-He loves singing songs-has his own playlist of his favorite songs 

-He takes a 1-2 hour nap a day and sleeps through the night just fine except when he wakes up to tell me he needs to pee

-He loves donuts. Almost every morning when Chase is getting in his truck to head to work, Ashton says "dad, bring me donuts" 

If I took all day to list everything about him, I still wouldn't be able to finish naming things because he is so smart, funny, cute, and cool. My list would just be never-ending, but I just can't believe his great of a kid he is. Everyone who meets him is always just in awe at how great he is, and it's just the best thing to see him grow up and see the cool kid he is becoming! We love him so much!
