January To Current

Blogging is getting harder and harder for me to do. I sometimes think it's pointless because no one reads this or cares, but maybe anyone who ever wrote in a journal thought the same thing, and maybe, just maybe, what they wrote and shared brought joy to their family later on. This is really just my journal about my everyday life.

I have a busy couple months ahead of me, of constant travel, so I figured I better catch up on what's been going on lately. And I realized I haven't blogged about what's been going on since Christmas so I have over three months to catch up on.

January is usually not too eventful of a month for us. School gets back in session after Christmas break and we just live life. We've played in snow a bit and we celebrated our wedding anniversary (our 3rd this year), but that's all we really have to show for January. Oh fun little tidbit, my sister got engaged so that was exciting!

February was filled with some weekends on the road to either St. George or Salt Lake to see family. In between all of that, Ashton got a little sick and Chase and I had a little Valentines Day date. I guess February is a bit of a relaxed month as well. Spring in general isn't too exciting for us. We are Summer and Fall people.

March was a busier month. We went to St.George for a couple days over Spring Break to find a new car, but ended up finding one in Cedar. A 2011 Ford Edge and we love it! I went to Salt Lake with my parents for some wedding shopping and a bridal shower for my sister where one of my best childhood friends got to come and we got to introduce our little babes to each other. I love sweet reunions with friends! Also while we were there, my mom, sister-in-law, and I took our little boys to the Zoo for the first time. The elephants were the coolest part for sure! Then the next weekend, Chase and I went on a weekend getaway and road trip in our new car to Salt Lake to go see Eric Church. I got him tickets for Christmas, and we finally got to go! We ate good food, went shopping, and rocked with Eric Church! Great concert! Great weekend!

April (so far) is flying by. We are basically half way through the month. My parents got a free trip to the Dominican Republic for the first week in April so my parents asked me to come house/babysit my brother while they were gone. We spent a lot of time with my brother and in-laws and with George Strait! Friday the 7th was my birthday! A week earlier, Chase found tickets for only $25 a piece to his concert and he and his siblings were gonna go (I had another babysitting obligation for that weekend of my birthday and wasn't going to be able to go), until the babysitting gig got cancelled so I went instead of Chase, who had too much homework to be able to go (poor guy, his favorite singer and his idea to go and he didn't even get to go. He will go though, mark my words). So I went with my in-laws and it was the funnest concert! Great 24th birthday!

The rest of my April update will be posted later on as it happens. We have a busy next couple of months going to St. George next weekend for my sister's endowment session, then Salt Lake the next weekend for my sister's wedding, then to Salt Lake again the next weekend to fly to Hawaii for a week, then fly back into Salt Lake the next weekend to go home, then back to Salt Lake the next weekend to go to the temple for my soon-to-be sister-in-law's endowment session, then to St. George the next weekend for my brother-in-law's wedding. hahaha busy busy busy! Life is good though. Over and out.
