Ashton is one and a half years old! Crazy how time flies! He is the coolest kid, and I just love who he is becoming! I know every mother thinks their child is a genius and amazing, but I actually think so. Over the last few months since I did Ashton's 15 month update, here are some of my favorite things about my little Ash:
-All the animal sounds he knows how to say
-His knowledge about knowing where almost all the body parts are
-His large vocabulary. I'm blown away at how many words he knows how to say (even if Chase and I are the only ones who understand what he is actually saying). Chase and I both weren't very talkative for the first few years of our lives so it's surprising to see Ash know so many words
-His love for movies (or shows as he calls them). His first favorite movie he sat all the way through was The Santa Clause. It was the only movie he would watch. Around Christmas, we were watching it at least 2 times a day haha. Since Christmas season ended though, I had to find him a new favorite movie. I discovered he had no interest in animated movies. So his favorites became Daddy Day Care, Little Rascals, and Air Bud. He even likes to watch Sandlot and Ferris Bueller's Day Off haha but I finally got him to like just one animated movie, Zootopia. We are slowly making progress in widening his movie selection.
-He is a great sleeper! Goes to bed between 8 and 9 and sleeps until about 7:30. Sometimes he wakes up for just a second for some water or something, but that's about it. He has been sick a little bit with the winter season and because of his stuffy nose, he couldn't sleep that well with the binky in his mouth so he would try to suck on it and would just end up handing it back to me. So he weened himself off the binky. And he loves to sleep with his dog, bear, and football
-He is definitely a boy. He always has his hands down his pants. I tell him to take it out everytime because he has peed on his hands before haha kids.
-He gives the BEST kisses and thinks I'll give him whatever he wants if he just gives me a kiss
-Tells my parents dog shhhh whenever he barks. So funny
-His molars are coming in
-Loves talking to "papa" on the phone. He paces the floor talking and laughing while fake calling his grandpa haha
-He will fetch certain things for me like his hammer, books, diapers, and wipes
-He learned how to tickle my feet thanks to his dad
-He has the most expressive face. So many facial expressions. People always comment on that to me when they see him
-He loves feeding himself with his fork and he eats just about anything
-He loves being outside. Even if it's snowing outside, he loves to go outside
-Rocks at taking selfies. When I turn on the camera so he can take a selfie, he says cheese and does this huge grin
There is so much about him I just love! I can't even think of everything he does that is so awesome, but he is so perfect! Can't believe he will be 2 in just 6 short months!
