Ashton at 15 Months

Now that Ashton is just over a year old, I didn't want to do an update about him every month anymore, but I don't want to forget all the awesome things he is doing and learning so I need to do an update every few months at least! Ashton had his 15 month check-up last week... He weighs 23 lbs 2 oz (54th percentile), is 30.5 inches long (21st percentile), and his head circumference is 47.5 cm (68th percentile). So basically he is a shortie with perfect weight and a big head, and he is hitting his check-up milestones like a champ!

Ashton is so smart! He loves to talk, dance, listen to music, play outside, eat, read, watch videos of himself, is starting to watch other shows more, he is starting to smile big and says cheese when I take his picture, he is a boy on the go and has the cutest little waddle run, he eats basically everything I give him, has 8 teeth, and his golden red hair is coming in and getting longer and longer everyday! Some of his favorite words are: Guck (truck), caw (car), buh-buh (buh-bye), jats (Jacks... his uncle), date do (thank you), mom and dad, gabba (grandma or grandpa), bappo (apple), dog, peas (please), chee (tree), wah (water), bebe (baby), booh (book), cheese... These are just some of the many many words he can (try) to say! It's adorable! I'm teaching him to say Santa and baby Jesus right now haha. He also loves saying animal noises like the cow, horse, dog, tiger, sheep, cat, and elephant. And he loves showing you where his eyes, belly button, ears, nose, head, teeth, and toes are.

Ash is starting to sleep so good at night. All summer he slept in our bed with us because we only had an AC unit in our room and I got lazy putting him to bed in his own bed, but now I lay him in his bed and hold his hand through the bars of the crib until he falls asleep and it goes really well. He wakes up once maybe twice (if he wakes up even at all) just because he wants a drink of his wate, and he is down to one nap a day and sleep for an hour or longer.

I love the happy kid that Ashton is and how much excitement he has for life! Please stay this fun age forever!
