Eight Months Old

This has been a big month. Ashton is so much more talkative, movable, and playful! We can't get enough of this cute little red head! I can't believe that he is going to be a year old in just 4 short months. Time, SLOW DOWN!

Likes:
-Dropping everything on the ground just so we tip him upside down so he picks it up
-Likes to rock back and forth, like he is on a bucking bronco actually
-Playing/splashing in the tub
-Any food that enters his mouth
-Being outside
-That 70's Show theme song. He always stops whatever he is doing to watch and listen
-When his dad spurts his belly and neck
-Standing and walking

Dislikes:
-When I wipe his face and nose
-Laying down, lately to even change his diaper
-Sleeping through the night. Wakes up every 2-4 hours and it's getting old
-His feet being tickled (just like his mom and dad)
-Putting lotion and clothes on after a bath
-When I rest my arm on his belly while he's nursing. He always pushes my arm away

New Tricks/Skills:
-Can roll either way now
-Is starting to crawl. He gets better at it everyday
-Just learned how to wave. He does it two ways: 1. Waving his whole arm around, 2. Rolling his wrist (like a royalty wave)
-Can say "mom/mama" and "ba" (ball)
-Can go from laying on his back to sitting or standing up (getting him to lay down for a nap at ease is near impossible now)
