We go to Beaver every year during hunting season and go camping. Even though I was 36 weeks pregnant this year, I was determined to camp and I'm glad I did. It was so fun to be there with all of Chase's family. Ashton is crazy obsessed with horses... like he constantly asked to go see them and ride them, and he would kiss them goodnight and goodbye. He just started to watch some western movies with Chase and loves Electric Horseman because of the horse haha. He is so much like Chase and I love watching Chase and Ashton together loving the same things.
Ashton has been stoked to wear his dog costume the whole month of October. This dog costume was my little brother's costume when he was Ashton's age about 15 years ago. So cute! All day on Halloween he was being a bit of a pill because he wanted candy so bad. I kept explaining that he needed to do what I needed him to do (nap, eat good food, etc.) then we would take him trick-or-treating (for his first time) and he could have candy then. Chase and I took him just up and down a couple streets in our neighborhood with another couple who have a two year old little girl. Chase would take him to the door and help him get candy. Ashton did alright saying trick-or-treat and thank you for his first time. He was so tired of walking, after every house he would ask to lay down on the grass and crashed on our grass when we were done. I love that cute little puppy dog.
Now we are here in November!!! Baby month! It's November 7th today and I am due in 6 days. I'm dilated to a 1 at every appointment and as of last week I was only 50% effaced. I have, hopefully, my last appointment tomorrow, and we will talk about what's next. We are really hoping for her to come this weekend, rather than at the start of or during the week. Next time I write in here, I will be rid of this big belly and will be a mom to two kids!
