Boyce Lake Powell Trip

This trip, my friends, was the perfect trip. The weather was fantastic, along with the company, and the usual Powell festivities were nothing short of excellent. My family is the best family to go to Powell with. We always know how to have a good time. Our usual Powell routine goes as followed:

1. We tend to get to Powell late at night, but we still load into the water and find a spot in the dark. We usually cram everyone onto the boat and tube to sleep, but our family is growing so that is becoming less of an option. Jord and Nicole got the tent, Jill and Jacks got the tube, mom and dad got the bench seats in the back of the boat, and Chase and I got the bow. Jord and Nicole had 2 small blankets and were freezing, half of Jill's sleeping bag fell into the lake, and Chase and I slept like babies. My dad likes to take pictures of everyone in the morning, and these pictures sure capture how we all felt about our night's sleep.
2. Mom always has to go to the bathroom in the morning and insists we head to the marina. Dad forgot to get gas in the boat so it was good that we went to the marina. We drifted by some houseboats in the no wake zone when my dad said to look and see if we can find a houseboat called "fahrfrumwurken." We found it and he had the key, so we looked around and all loved it. My dad won't admit it, but I'm quite sure we are buying a share. It's about time!
3. The next event that usually takes place on our Powell vacations is breakfast and wakeboarding/skiing. This was so good because Chase got up on his first try and was able to stay up. I was a proud wifey. Next year, he will be pro.
4. Lunch is a great time of day. Delicious food and naps. We decided to take advantage of this key and we headed to the houseboat to just hang out and nap.
5. Next is the best part of the day. Tubing. Since we got our nice zoom camera, we have too much fun snapping shots on the tube. The faces are always priceless, and everyone either looks terrified or so happy. It's impossible to not love Super Mable.
6. To end the trip, we always take a lovely family photo. Also, the Go Pro is our new favorite toy.
It was a superb trip to finish off the summer, and now we can't wait for fall time to hit. Happy times!
Love, The Robinsons
